MUNICH°° 2020 was a very positive year again for the Bavarian business promotion agency “Invest in Bavaria”. 101 successfully managed projects, 89 of them alone cases of new locations, prove Invest in Bavaria’s commitment. 2,654 new jobs were created throughout Bavaria as a result.

The investment projects supported by Invest in Bavaria originated from a total of 24 countries in 2020. The USA occupied first place among the foreign investors, ahead of China and France. The regional distribution of the projects is also encouraging: there were new locations in all seven administrative districts, and almost half of all new jobs are in rural regions.
